Camp starts as follows:
Leaders and Rovers

Arrive Saturday afternoon/evening of 24th of September through to Sunday morning the 2nd of October. Saturday night the 1st of October will be a fellowship night.
Scouts and Venturers
Arrive Sunday afternoon on the 25th of September through to Saturday morning the 1st October.
Cubs and Joeys
Arrive Wednesday afternoon on the 28th September through to Saturday morning the 1st October. 2022.
Please note: Joeys will require a parent to attend for supervision purposes only, not to participate adventurous activities, unless they want to.


Our program allows for:
Rock Climbing – rock wall
Canoeing
Map and Compass work
Pioneering camp gadget etc
Archery
Cooking nights
SIA night-time activities including:
Earth Tribe – Tide turners – Plastic and the Environment (youth will receive a list of plastic stuff to bring to camp)
Model Aircraft and flight – extra cost of $10.00 includes take home flight glider max 15 youth
As per Youth Lead – Adult Mentored principles, youth will also have input into SIA’s before camp
It is our vision to have scouts and Venturers participate / train in the activities to count for part of their badge work and then they will lead the Cubs and Joeys in these activities, this then becomes a “lead” for older youth and a “participate” for younger youth.

Medical Consent to be completed by all participants (or parent/guardian if under 18)

I/We acknowledge that this activity will involve inherent and obvious risks. I/We authorise any officer, member, servant or agent of The Scout Association of Australia, New South Wales Branch, in the event of any accident or illness to obtain such urgent medical assistance or treatment for the above named participant, including the administration of any anaesthetic or blood transfusion as he or she may consider expedient and for this purpose to engage any first aiders, ambulance officers, doctors, dentists, nursing assistance or hospital accommodation and in this event I agree to pay the said Association on demand all such doctors', dentists', nurses', ambulance and hospital fees (other than fees and expenses recoverable by the said Association under any policy of insurance).

As a participant 18 years or over, or the Parent/Guardian of the youth applicant, I agree to the Medical Consent
How do you think you will get to Tamworth? If we know you are travelling by Coach, Train or Air we will arrange to meet you and take you out to Lynchwood. Knowing in advance will greatly assist us in helping you.
